The Augusta 490 is the wide-format flagship of Häfele's Augusta spill-proof gas hob range, spanning 900 mm for maximum cooking capacity in large Indian kitchens. Its twin Triple Ring burners and comprehensive burner layout make it the most powerful Augusta configuration available.

Burners & Performance

Four burner zones include two Triple Ring burners at 3.0 kW each and two Dual Ring burners at 1.7 kW each — all in 4th generation full brass with a direct flame design. This burner combination delivers maximum high-heat capacity, allowing two large pans to receive full wok-level power simultaneously. Electric auto ignition and a flame failure safety device ensure reliable, safe operation throughout.

Build & Installation

At 900 mm wide, 525 mm deep, and 130 mm high, the Augusta 490 fits standard 90 cm built-in hob cutouts. The 8 mm black tempered glass panel is heat-resistant and wipe-clean, and the cast iron pan supports with heat protectors keep all cookware, including heavy cast iron and woks, perfectly stable across the full width.
